SALEM, Ore. — University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh secured a 1-0 victory over Willamette at Sparks Field. The game's lone goal, scored in the first half, proved decisive as the Titans' defense held firm, with goalkeeper Mallory Kerhin recording two saves to complete the shutout. The Bearcats managed five shots on goal but could not find the back of the net.
The first half saw an early attempt from Erin Denney of Willamette, who took a shot on goal, but Kerhin saved it. Oshkosh opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a goal by Jaden LeRoy, assisted by Ryley Meenk. Siera Edwards, guarding the net for Willamette, made a key save at the 7-minute mark, keeping the score close as the half progressed.
