Amanda Carpenter (Grad., G, Beaverton, OR/Sunset HS) scored a career-high 31 points to lead Willamette University to a 70-50 victory over Linfield University on Play for ABTA night at Cone Field House on Friday, Jan. 21. Carpenter was 7 of 13 from the field and hit 13 of 14 free throws

Jordan Roue (Sr., GK, San Jose, CA/Prospect HS) of Willamette University registered seven saves to lead a strong defensive effort as the Bearcats earned a 3-0 victory over Whitworth University on Sunday, Oct. 24 at Sparks Field. Angelina De Leon (Fy., M, Marana, AZ/Salpointe Catholic HS), Sydney Wilson (Sr., M, Olympia, WA/Capital HS), and Emma Blackburn (Sr., F, Los Altos, CA/Saint Francis HS) each scored a goal for the Bearcats, while Joleigh Miller (Jr., D, Salem, OR/South Salem HS) provided two assists.

Natalie Klotz (Sr., OH, Bonner Springs, KS/Bonner Springs HS) and Olivia Cadien (Fy., OH, Mesa, AZ/Chandler Preparatory Academy) each pounded out 15 kills to lead Willamette University past Linfield University, 3-1, on Wednesday, Sept. 15 in the Northwest Conference opener for both teams. The Bearcats dropped the first set before rallying to win the match at Cone Field House, 17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-22.

The Jean Williams Award is presented annually to the senior women's student-athlete who most excelled in all areas of their career at Willamette by exemplifying and demonstrating outstanding leadership, scholarship, and athleticism.

Sue Rauch gave the bulk of her career and much of her love of life to Willamette University. Not only did she help bring a myriad of students to our school through her work in Admissions; she was also one of Willamette Athletic’s biggest fans. She attended games and was a friend to our coaches over many years. Every year we honor a current staff member whose support extends from the office to the stands in her name.

Hillary Arthur, the head women's soccer coach at Willamette University, was named the as the inaugural recipient of the NCAA Division III LGBTQ Administrator/Coach/Staff of the Year.
